Cross River Gorilla

Vetiver’s grassy, earthy, elegance is steam-distilled from the roots of an Indian grass known in Latin as Chrysopogon zizanioides. Vetiver’s aroma is loamy, dense, and it’s smoky, grassy aura aura has long been a staple of men’s fragrances. Vetiver has been a fragrant ingredient in perfumes and incense for millenia - especially in Southeast Asia, mainly in Sri Lanka and India. Vetiver pairs best with masculine notes like leather, patchouli, labdanum, and tobacco. Although it’s also found in many women’s fragrances as well, as its earthy sophistication lends an ancient forest feel to many floral perfumes.
