Venus of Verbena Eau De Parfum is the first fresh green citrus blend fragrance from Sana Jardin. It highlights the brightness of verbena with a sparkling note of litsea cubeba and lemon oil. Soft musk and heliotrope provide a beautiful contrast, wrapping the heart of Moroccan neroli, orange flower and clary sage. A touch of vetiver adds elegance and a refined woody accent to the dry down.

I don't know a lot about fragrance, but I know what I like. It's honestly amusing to read the vastly different ways this perfume is perceived, but I always know someone is completely clueless about scents when they describe everything they dislike as "smelling like an "old lady". I chose to sample this one because of the lower reviews - the last thing I want to smell like is a 14 year old obsessed with vanilla. Anyway, the neroli is the standout to me, and the drydown is why I came back. This is a powerful scent that lasts - if you can't smell it on yourself after a couple of hours, either your chemistry eats it up or you've become nose blind to it.
