I sprayed this on, dubiously- since I hadn’t liked the test spray and it went about the same. This scent struck me as translucent and astringent. I wanted to give it a chance to develop a little but…I just didn’t want to spend the time of day with this perfume. There was a mysterious hint of something silken and petal that I wanted to understand yet I just hated the clangy, sharpness that was happening. Sakura feels like a creamy floral bomb, a mishmash of olfactory overload, while also feeling rich. While this isn't one I will be readily reaching towards for most occasions, especially not work because it is so strong, it is kind of fun to wear around the house. Be careful not to spray too many times. I will say that this had better longevity than most, which could be a blessing or a curse, depending on how you look at it. Although this isn't one of my favorites, it does make me curious about other Ormonde Jayne fragrances.00
