When I first got it and sprayed it I was disappointed. What everyone says is accurate, the first spritz does have an off putting smell. Might be the Petigrain but idk what that smells like. I can smell the citrus in the beginning too, but it’s more of a bitter citrus. Like how an orange peel tastes lol. I’ve come around to like the smell in the beginning tho! I think I just wasn’t used to petigrain/citrus scents. When it’s dry you can smell a milky caramel and I think it’s wonderful. I get a little bit of citrus with it too. I catch whiffs of it throughout the day but it’s not at all overpowering. I do not think this smells like an old lady perfume. I’ve had a few perfumes that do have that old-church-lady smell and I cannot stand them. I think overall this is more of a light, cozy scent.
