Stem captures our idea of a deconstructed garden, bringing to life the secondary scents or quieter facets of floristry that are often overlooked: the crispness of freshly cut stems, the aroma of crushed leaves and of rich soil. These scents are as beautiful and evocative as the flower itself, yet they are often edited out of fragrances. Stem is what lingers on our clippers, hands and clothes while the flowers brighten the kitchen or a bedroom. These are the stalks of green hyacinth and dewy muguet, a fresh blend of mandarin leaves, florets of hyacinth and greens from wild freesia. All are softened by a trio of modern musk molecules to give the composition radiance, texture and sensuality.

    I don’t even know if I like it or if I don’t. Scent starts off a bit strong. For some reason it made my skin start burning I spritzed it on my arm. I don’t smell the mandarin at all. It’s very VERY floral but like old lady floral. To me it smells like a scent from Febreze. It starts to smell better/softer after letting it sit for a bit.

    Dry and Sad
    This scent left me wanting like a cheap bottle of pinot gris. Shockingly empty with a reek. I've been known to like Malin+Goetz lotions and soaps, so this came as a shock. I will stick to earthy and herbal notes.

    fantastic
    This is not a strong, perfume-y scent if that makes sense. This smells like a gentle, photorealistic flower to me. Like you were at the botancal gardens and you leaned in to smell the roses and the faint scent is trailing behind you. I wish it lasted longer but it is absolutely beautiful.
