I expected a much more spicy, winter scent...on me it was more of a smooth sandalwood, with a nice musk. I didn't pick up much of the Ambroxan, its not in your face. Im not necessarily disappointed, but i do typically enjoy the note in fragrances (just in case that note you dont enjoy, I didnt find it prominent). Something I would most likely wear fall and spring, not so much winter. It's very nice....just not as I expected from the scent profile/notes.
