Arquiste - L'Or de Louis

April 1687, The Orangery, Versailles. More than a thousand Mediterranean trees are housed in the cathedral-like galleries of the Orangery. Built by the King’s architect to impress courtiers, the tree-lined space became a theatrical setting to entertain the Court. Inside, the gardeners would build bonfires to keep the trees warm so when the Sun King visited, the heady scent of firewood blended with his beloved orange blossoms would emit a generous golden aura.

    It's very exotic
    It reminded me of exotic deep oils and flowers that I've smelled from Arabian and east African woman. Even from Morocco and India. It's Unique and as time goes by it transform it to such an captivating scent. I Love it. Thanks

    Not a Fan At All!!!
    I am veryy upset I received this perfume, it was sent to me without my choosing, it actually makes me sneeze uncontrollably! I would have never picked this for myself, I want to send it back ASAP! Not happy at all! …0 Stars!

    Very strong vintage/old scent
    It could've just been me, but there was a strong dislike from the beginning with me for this scent. It's very strong and feels really old, almost like coming from a funeral for an elder mother in the south. Smells like the funeral flowers smh, not for me.
