Perfume is alchemy and Hermetica takes its name from Corpus Hermeticum, a collection of mystical texts that influenced the practice of alchemy in the early Middle Ages. Alchemy sought to transform basicmetals into precious materials and to find the elixir of life.
In their quest to find their ultimate elixir, Hermetica founders John and Clara Molloy created a revolutionary collection that uses both natural ingredients, synthetic molecules and synthetics derived from natural sources. It smelled overpoweringly astringent for hours and a little dirty, in the patchouli sense of the word. Almost as soon as those went away, the scent all but disappeared leaving something that could have been amber-like had it been string enough to smell. I gave this one a go not expecting much but honestly i bought a full bottle after. Amber has alwayss been my scent and this had to be one the top ambers ive tired. Its now my daily. Its definitely mixes with you and creates such a incredible intoxicating intimate scent. You will get so many compliments, no matter where i went with this on at least one person asked what i was wearing. Its definitely that perfume. I’ll try it again tomorrow. My signature scent is Aerin-Amber Musk so I'm partial to woody, earthy scents. There are notes of that in Amberbee but I don’t know if I can get past the alcohol overtone00
