Heretic is one of my favorite perfume houses, they know how to bring the green out of a smell, this perfume is like fresh cut grass and oranges. So good and so warm, very deep, it’s not light. Also they’re a natural perfume house, they talk about their perfumes not lasting long on their website but I think they stay on me pretty well

This scent is so beautiful. It reminds me of an evening walk in the summer with the down-to-earth scents of violet leaf and hinoki but then there’s an orange grove nearby and you get a pop of citrus. One of the best finds this year!

You know those dry rounds of orange you get on top of a cocktail at a hispster bar or restaurant? With a smokey woody air to it that every time you stick your nose into that glass you get a whif and it makes the drink so much better? That is what this smells like to me. Loved it! Unisex leaning to femine. Perfect for date night.

Note: I did not get my sample from SB, but rather, directly from the brand. I was so disheartened to see this given a 1 with no explanation. It's a solid 3.5 for me. Firstly, this is a unisex fragrance (as all Heretic fragrances are), not female as listed. Personally, this isn't very mysterious and magical - it's pretty straight forward. It's a woody citrus, vaguely reminiscent of something you'd pick up at the Gap circa 1997. A nice addition to your collection if you dig that kind of thing. Just a fresh lil spritz that's grounded in the greens and the woods. One other thing that this has in common with other Heretic fragrances: it only lasts a few hours. I'm sure that just comes along with being a "clean" fragrance, so if that's important enough to you, I doubt you'll mind having to carry it around for a reapply. Missing notes (per brand website): Italian mandarin, elemi, Siberian fir, and cedar leaf.
