Haunted Rose

I do actually really like the notes in this, but it’s a smidge overwhelming for me, and I usually prefer a stronger scent. With a lighter spray you can pick out more notes, but too much of it and it’s just overpowering roses. That said, it does last fairly long, it’s just hard to get the balance of not using too much.

Didn’t live up to it name. It gave me old lady vibes

I double checked the listing because I could swear this was a unisex perfume (which ALWAYS skew masculine), but it says female! It’s so masculine and heavy. Not AT ALL what you’d expect for a perfume with rose and passion fruit listed in the scent profile. The sandalwood and a peppery note completely dominate this perfume. I’m getting absolutely zero rose and passion fruit on first spray and during the dry down. In fact, this perfume gets worse as it dries. Any of that subtle saffron scent that you sort of smell on first spray is subsumed by the heavy woodsy smell. It smells like the missing 4th gift of the wise men, but not in a good way; gold, frankincense, myrrh, and whatever the heck this is. Or like those overwhelming air fresheners some of the NYC taxi drivers had. Where you’d be counting the seconds until you could escape the confined space. The only reason I gave this 2 stars and not one is because it didn’t make me sneeze or give me a headache, and it’s not offensively bad. So disappointing though.

This smelled like someone’s grandmother…wouldn’t recommend

It is nice, but then something sort of sour or bitter smelling lingers in the very back of my nose and I just don't like it. I love all things rose, but this just didn't hit the mark. Soo close tho!
