The New Savant - Heatwave Candle
Heatwave was inspired by Ingrid's SoCal roots, where summer felt like a year-round season. Sunny, verdant, and endlessly dreamy, this energizing fragrance centers one of Ingrid's favorite smells and an unusual note to find in candles: fresh dill. Combined with cucumber, juicy peaches and wet earth, Heatwave is balanced, unique and the perfect scent to burn for a little mood boost. In the studio, we affectionally call this our "sleeper hit" because at first glance people aren't sure what to expect, but when they smell this fragrance, they keep coming back for more – making it one of our top three bestsellers of all-time.
Imagine: afternoon sunshowers, bare feet on wet earth, fresh herbs in the garden, juicy peaches and all the time in the world.

All of our products are made by hand, so you may notice some slight variations or imperfections. This includes: small dents or scratches on the packaging, minor discoloration of the wax, labels that aren't perfectly straight, etc. None of these things impact the quality of the candle or its burn.

The New Savant is a modern scent studio located in Brooklyn, NY. We blend high-end, original fragrances with approachable materials, to create something that looks good and smells better. TNS candles are meant to be burned and enjoyed.
We use domestic suppliers, metal vessels (which are infinitely recyclable) and minimal packaging materials. Our name honors the untraditional, self-made path in life.
Our scents are designed by co-founder, Ingrid Nilsen, and brought to life by master perfumers. Ingrid uses scent notes, like steamed rice or desert air, that have been left out of traditional candle canon to create something delightfully new.
