Apsu by Ulrich Lang New York
The name Apsu was inspired by the Babylonian mythological deity, born of fresh water and a lover to another deity, Tiamat, a creature of salt water. Translating the story into a fragrance means a conveyance of freshness through dewy notes drenched in lush, green, and watery accords. One spritz should remind you of that first drop of summer rain on hot skin: It’s revitalizing, inviting, and beyond fresh.
The scent opens with crunchy greens mixed with sunny bergamot to capture the lush and vibrant spirit of nature and water in warmer climates. Middle notes consist of white tea, dewy jasmine and iris making the scent sophisticated, clean and inviting. Rounding out the scent is a smooth sensual blend of white musk, frankincense, and amber-like woods.
“APSU is more of a scent than a heavy, complex fragrance,” notes Lang. APSU’s scent is a nod to a simpler lifestyle — a contrast to today’s complex world.

Lethe by Ulrich Lang New York
Lethe is a unisex composition that conveys the classic but modern story about
the luxury of simplicity. Its name comes from the Greek mythological river, Lethe, known for its potency to forget when sipped. Inspired by the chaos that was brought on the world in the spring of 2020, the creators wanted to make a scent that’s reminiscent of the comfort and warmth provided by love.
“Like the river, one spritz of Lethe, and the scent allows you to fall safely into oblivion”, is the brand’s tagline, but we’ll add that it’s not a plunge, but a rather slow descent that takes you directly in the embrace of your favorite person.
Each note refreshes the senses in different ways: the bergamot note in the opening is tuned to a bright citrus sheen, the lavender is ethereal as if a brisk, soft wind was running through the fragrance. And the water lily runs like reflected sunlight on a fast-moving river underneath it all. Musk, amber, and vanilla round out this clean and sensual fragrance that is pure, warm, and timeless.

17 Nandan Road by Ulrich Lang New York
Imagine a flower garden with lush osmanthus bushes where each flower is in full bloom. Of course, it will make such a lasting impression that you’d want to immortalize in a scent that you can revisit with a spritz.
17 Nandan Road is the street address of Shanghai’s gardens where osmanthus flowers can be found in full bloom during the month of October. A perfume envisioned as a dialogue between freshness and warmth, with green leaves, Sicilian lemon, and bergamot on one side and osmanthus, suede, and ambroxan, all warm and sensual on the other.
A uniquely faceted floral fragrance, 17 Nandan Road is sultry and addictive, strongly set on seducing and delighting you at once.
