Impatient for the name? It’s Tesori d’Oriente White Musk! But there’s more to this story than a shockingly low price tag. Stick around, and we’ll spill the tea and the fragrance notes on this hidden gem. I promise we will make it worthwhile.

The vibe? Nose-talgic and luxe all at once
If you’re into powdery, creamy, and warm but not overly hyped-up scents, this is the one for you. It has notes of rose, ylang-ylang, vanilla, and white musk, and as a friend once told me, it makes you ‘smell like a hug from a loved one you haven’t seen in a while.’ Sold.
The magic lies in how these notes dance together, creating a universally flattering scent. It’s warm yet surprisingly sheer, a captivating harmony that transcends individual notes. I know that judging by its name, this scent should be all about musk, but no, this perfume is about the harmony of all the notes together. Tesori d’Oriente White Musk isn’t a fragrance that announces itself with a loud burst. Instead, it settles on your skin with a whisper and enhances your natural aroma. People stop short, captivated by your invisible aura, and simply say, “You smell so good.” You mist this on, wait for half an hour for the notes to settle, and the first thought that comes to your mind is ‘If self-love were a perfume, this would be it’. Try it and say it isn’t so.
As a self-proclaimed perfume aficionado, my nose has encountered countless scents. Yet, there’s one fragrance that consistently reigns supreme in the compliment department, and you’ve guessed it, it’s White Musk.
While dissecting its notes, I also polled my fellow fragrance enthusiasts. To my surprise, a resounding 70% (mind you, I did the math, 7 out of 10) associated the scent with a sense of longing. Not a melancholic yearning, but rather a warm, nostalgic pull towards something familiar and comforting. But this captivating fragrance is more than just a memory trigger. Despite its $9 price tag, it exudes an aura of quiet, subdued luxury.
Notes
The top notes are Aldehydes, Rose, and Ylang-Ylang;
Middle notes are Freesia, Jasmine, and Cloves;
Base notes are White Musk, Amber, and Vanilla.
What does it smell like?
This fragrance is a chameleon! It starts fresh and clean, like a breath of fresh air after a shower. But give it some time, and it transforms into something truly special. It settles into a soft, powdery scent, but not in a sharp or old-fashioned way. I imagine a glamorous 1940s Hollywood silent actress applying loose powder with a luxurious puff—that’s the kind of smooth, creamy texture this perfume has. It’s comforting and warm, like a cashmere blanket on a cool evening. The best part? There’s a matching cream and a shower gel if you want to fully embrace the scent! I know I do!
Will I love White Musk?
Here’s the twist—even if powdery scents usually turn you off, this one might surprise you. Unlike some strong, talc-like powders, this one is smooth and seamlessly blends with your natural scent, almost becoming a second skin (without any animalic notes, of course). It’s long-lasting too, with the powdery notes emerging more in the dry down, but subtly and pleasantly. Tesori d’Oriente really outdid themselves with this one—it’s my favorite in their entire line!
