Back by popular demand, we’re excited to welcome Nate Katsuki back to the Scents of Style spotlight! You might remember him from before—when he’s not hitting the gym, creating viral videos, or enjoying playful puppy dates with his fluffy Pomeranian, Nate is proudly repping his Boise, Idaho roots with a grin that could light up the sky. Get ready for another round of style, energy, and, of course, some seriously captivating scents!
1. What were your first impressions of Regent Leather by Thameen London?
My first impression of Regent Leather is that it’s the perfect scent for fall. It has rounded, warm notes of leather, rose, and musk that remind me of being in a cozy room on a chilly day.
2. How do places inspire your scent selection and nostalgia around scent?
There’s definitely a time and place for scent. For me, subtle citrus notes pair beautifully with the aroma of bitter coffee in coffee shops. The environment and the scents around you make the experience memorable.
3. What’s a packing hack or holy grail item you always travel with?
I always travel with fragrance samples because they’re compact and easy to carry. There’s something special about wearing a new scent in a new place—the two become intertwined in your memory. Later, when you wear that fragrance again, it brings back the essence of that trip.
4. Where is a bucket list destination for you in 2024?
The Canary Islands and Morocco!
5. Hot take: summer or winter destinations?
I love summer destinations in winter and winter destinations in summer. I visit my family in LA and AZ to escape the cold winters of NY.
