Tell us about your fragrance philosophy
I love a sweet and spicy scent with a touch of freshness and a hint of musk. Once I find a fragrance I adore, it becomes my everyday signature scent for a few months. Applying my scent is the final step in my getting-ready routine: first makeup, then outfit, and finally, perfume. Without it, I feel like my outfit is incomplete.
What were your first impressions of Le Chévrefeuille by Goutal fragrance?
The moment I spritzed Le Chévrefeuille by Goutal, I was transported to a blooming spring garden. The initial burst of wild narcissus is bright and verdant, creating an uplifting and fresh feeling. As it settles, the softness of jasmine and the green, citrusy notes of lemon petitgrain emerge, adding a delicate and elegant touch.
Where was the most memorable wedding you’ve attended?
When I was 18, I attended a small, intimate wedding that is forever ingrained in my memory. I’ve definitely been drawing inspiration from it for my upcoming wedding. From the tiny old chapel where the ceremony was held to the golden hour cocktails and the incredible dance party that ended the night, the entire event was a true celebration of love, family, and friendship. That is what is most important to me and my fiancé.
Where does Le Chévrefeuille by Goutal fragrance transport you?
A crisp fresh spring morning.
How does Goutal’s scent relate to a nostalgic memory for you?
I was transported back to the cherished memories and scent of my grandmother. Although she’s no longer with us to celebrate my wedding, wearing this scent makes me feel her presence. It’s a beautiful reminder of the love and warmth she brought into my life, making this fragrance all the more special as I prepare for my big day.
Hot takes: What do you think about people not having bridesmaids/groomsmen?
Hot take: We won’t be having any bridesmaids or groomsmen. We’re having an intimate wedding with just 35 people, and if we had a bridal party, there’d be no one left to sit in the seats, haha. Jokes aside, we really want our friends and family to feel like guests. Since we’re already having a destination wedding, which can be a lot to ask, we want everyone to feel like they’re on vacation, not on duty.
