Wearing the right scent can exude “a main character energy”, says Samira Ahmed, a 20-year-old Marketing and PR student. When she’s not spending quality time with her family and friends, she dedicates time to herself, going on outdoor adventures, taking photos, and just living in the moment and for the moment. She chooses scents based on her desired energy for the day or the event, oozing style and confidence. We sat down with Samira to talk a bit about her fragrance philosophy and how Veronique Gabai’s fragrances fit her personal style aesthetics.
SB: Hi Samira. Do you count scent as essential when putting up a finished look?
SA: I believe scent and style go hand and hand. Everyone has a go-to pair of shoes and also a go-to scent. Finishing a look with a scent not only makes you smell good but FEEL good, which is an integral part of fashion/ personal style.
SB: Veronique Gabai is known for her sensual, artistry-imbued scents. How does the brand fit your style vibe?
SA: Veronique Gabai’s French culture and brand aesthetic resonate with my style a lot. I take a lot of style inspiration from the scents I’m wearing which are usually fresh and airy!
SB: Describe the one Veronique Gabai scent that lives on your skin rent-free.
SA: My favorite scent would have to be Le Point G! It has a French and European flare which compliments my outfits perfectly. It has vanilla and rose notes which are perfect together as a signature scent but also perfect for big occasions!
