Fall is coming, which means our fragrance wish-list is filled with wonderful spicy notes and our beauty look is getting dark and dramatic – think graphite and black, as well as roasted, nutty hues. The runways were filled with smudgy, smoldering makeup looks, and we’re feeling that lived-in yet undeniably glam vibe for autumn.
From super smoked-out to subtle and chic, it’s all about the eyes this season. We’ve rounded up our fave designer interpretations to inspire you for fall.
Don’t forget, you can recreate these must-have designer looks, using Deck of Scarlet’s Diamond Dust palette (Edition No.–04)
Tom Ford opted for a sooty, smoky eye, paired with a bare face and nude lips, while at Dior, the look leaned heavily on liquid eyeliner – and little else. We like to think of it as a minimalist punk with plenty of edge. The Eighties reigned over at Miu Miu, where models looked both sophisticated and mischievous; their eyes painted black with a graphic twist. At Max Mara, makeup artists rimmed the eye with dark charred hues, creating the ultimate grungy-glam look with feline appeal.
Glam or understated, sultry or super smoked-out, eyes are the main event for fall.
