Celebrity fragrances were the IT scents of the early aughts. Between Britney Spears’ Fantasy and Paris Hilton’s eponymous fragrance Paris Hilton, these star-born perfumes had quite the hold over our teenage selves—and to be honest, they still do today. However, there’s one celebrity fragrance brand that reigns supreme in our minds and senses—and that’s J.Lo’s roster of hit fragrances including the one that started it all Glow. In honor of her newest Netflix documentary, Halftime, which follows her through the ups and downs of her 50th birthday through her absolutely epic Super Bowl halftime performance with Shakira, we’re shining the spotlight on queen Jennifer Lopez perfumes that turned the multi-talented performer into a beauty mogul. From the ever-popular original Glow to spin-offs of the OG, and more, read on for the best Jennifer Lopez perfumes we’d never want to stop spritzing—even if some no longer exist.
THE BEST JENNIFER LOPEZ PERFUMES EDIT STARTS RIGHT NOW
J.LO GLOW EAU DE PARFUM
It’s summer 2002, you’re dousing your body in glitter and swiping on Bonne Bell lip gloss with sheer abandon. You grab the sensually-shaped bottle that’s filled with the perfect blend of sweet, soapy, and musky notes and start spritzing from head to toe. The instantly recognizable scent stars top notes of grapefruit, sparkling neroli, and sweet and musky orange blossom. The middle notes of jasmine and tuberose give it a touch of headiness along with a powdery rose. As it dries down the warm base of creamy vanilla and orris root come to life.
J.LO GLOW MIAMI EAU DE PARFUM
This spinoff of the original is another favorite from the roster as it transports you to the beaches of Miami (J.Lo’s second favorite city to NYC) in a single whiff. The fruity-floral fragrance embodies the spirit of the nearly-tropical city in its purest form. As a true summertime spritz with top notes of passion fruit, coconut milk, and pink grapefruit, middle notes are orange blossom, cyclamen, and heliotrope along with the same base notes as the original glow of vanilla, musk, and amber.
J.LO GLOW AFTER DARK EAU DE PARFUM
The name says it all. This scent is reserved for after-hours—whether date night with your significant other or a night out with your crew. This version of Glow leans into its sexiest side with bright, fruity notes of lychee, melon, passion fruit, mandarine, and white cherry. At the heart, you get a sensual fusion of creamy, rose, pink peony, and orange flower with a dry down of patchouli musk, and moss.
JENNIFER LOPEZ STILL EAU DE PARFUM
In contrast to the fruity gourmands and fruity florals on the list, this JLo fragrance masterpiece takes a greener approach with citrus, bitter, and tea notes.
This earthier floral fragrance offers top notes of mandarin orange, apple, and Earl Grey tea, then you get earthy white pepper and a touch of sweetness from rice. As for the middle notes, expect a bouquet of white florals like jasmine and Lily of the valley, plus rose and honeysuckle. The base is cozy and warm with musk, sandalwood, and amber along with a dash of black pepper. This is definitely one of the more sophisticated sprays she’s ever made.
JENNIFER LOPEZ LIVE EAU DE PARFUM
Drawing inspiration from her love of dance, Live Eau de Parfum is a gourmand fruity-floral fragrance with a dazzling mix of fruits, flowers, and rich delectable notes. At first whiff, orange takes center stage, then fresh red currant comes into the situation with an introduction of peony and violet for a syrupy powdery aroma. At the base, you’ll find candied notes of caramel, tonka bean, and vanilla that vibe well with woodsy sandalwood. An underrated Jennifer Lopez perfume that we loved from the first time we smelt it.
