Mon Guerlain utilizes exceptional, precious raw materials, and opens with rare aromatic Carla Lavender from Provence, evolving into a velvet heart of heady Sambac Jasmine from India, and blending gorgeously with a base of smooth Album Sandalwood from Australia and sweet Vanilla Tahitensis from Papua New Guinea. The iconic ‘quadrilobe’ bottle, first designed in 1908, was inspired by an alchemist’s bottle, and the rosy-hued fluid reminds me of bubbly pink champagne. The bottle offers a contrast between strong graphic lines and sensual curves, again portraying an homage to contemporary femininity.
