The perfume opens with pineapple lime custard note, generously sprinkled with caramelized sugar and seasoned with lemon peel. It is an energized jolt, an instant rush of adrenaline in a tired, dull body.
In the heart, the main pineapple note dances with Sambac jasmine and orange blossom one tune at a time.
In the dry down, the pineapple never leaves the main stage, but it is blended seamlessly, ensuing a delicate, soft, comforting effect.
All of this is achieved through the base notes: peru balsam, sandalwood, vetiver and vanilla.
Since winter is that time of the year that asks for heavier perfumes, I suggest you to break this “tradition” and start a new cycle of perfumes that float effortlessly around you, like this light, sweet, fresh concoction.
My only problem with this perfume is its sweetness. While being a massive fan of pineapple note in any fragrance, I cannot help but feel intimidated by the syrupy feel of the pineapple. Due to this overtly sweetness, I dare to label the perfume as balsamic and soapy, although the label clearly clashes with the freshness the perfume provides.
All in all, a true fragrant delight for every pineapple scent lover!
