Let’s start out by saying this fragrance is not what you may expect, very different from Viva La Juicy and her sisters. I personally hear it all the time from women who started wearing Juicy Couture in 2006, that it was a fragrance for when they were younger. Or it’s out of style because the track suits aren’t in style. We all remember the infamous velour pants that confidently wrote “Juicy” across many of people’s backsides for quite a while. Well, I Am Juicy Couture is not that. It combines the iconic history of Juicy Couture but most importantly, it’s future.
Juicy Couture describes the woman wearing it as ” irreverent and unconventional with an intense and playful sensuality that makes her unforgettable.”
I couldn’t agree more, but not only is she playful, she is breathtaking! She is the breeze that brushes the hair across your face ever so slightly with the smells of a warm spring morning.
Opening up juicy, of course, with plump raspberries, tangy Pomelo, and sweet passion fruit, you feel greeted with the happiness you would always expect from a Juicy Couture fragrance.
After the sugary innocence slightly dissipates, you are then introduced to a heart stopping, wedding worthy beautiful bouquet of gardenia, heliotrope, Rose de mai and sweet pea.
These alluring notes dry down and combine with the surprising base notes on your skin with soft cozy musk, comforting cashmere woods and candied Amber. Such a beautiful and welcome surprise from the Juicy Couture line.
So delightful to have all of these gorgeous ingredients in one fragrance. It makes you feel young, vibrant, sophisticated and beautiful all wrapped up into one!
