Unless you’ve been taking a social media break, you’ve likely seen your Instagram and TikTok feeds flooded with the iconic lime green image plastered with the word brat—and here’s why. Inspired by Charli XCX’s now mega-viral latest album titled Brat, the album name signifies care-free vibes giving you the green light to live your life on your own terms. The brat aesthetic is all about individuality, having fun, and just doing you, which is why we wanted to curate a list of fragrances that scream brat to the core. It also pulls in vibes from the early aughts which, we admittedly, can’t get enough of. Behold, five fragrances that, in our opinion, are sooooo brat. Keep scrolling to learn more.
Key Notes: Pitaya pulp, fruit gummies, orange flower, marigold bloom, amber
The color of this perfume is serving brat on a silver platter, but we’d be remiss to ignore how the smell itself leans into the aesthetic too. The acid green juice was concocted to take your senses on a euphoric ride to the most tripped-out candy store you’ve ever encountered. Its nostalgic sugary notes are a nod to the sweet scents of Y2K. However, its pulpy and musky notes give it a slightly more grown-up appeal. Read our full review here.
DKNY Be Delicious Eau de Parfum
Key Notes: Green apple, grapefruit, tuberose, amber, sandalwood
This iconic fragrance centered around green apple was made to be included in this trend. The kelly green elixir is spiked with green apple for a tart, sugary, and floral blend that evokes mischief and charm, which is obviously SO brat. The scent starts with a mix of nearly-edible notes of green apple, grapefruit, violet, and magnolia. Next, there’s a floral fix featuring tuberose, lily of the valley, rose, and violet. At the base is sandalwood and amber which round out the scent.
Confessions of a Rebel Bite Me Eau de Parfum
Key Notes: Strawberry, red apple, vanilla orchid, golden rum
There’s more than meets the nose when it comes to this fragrance that appears sweet upon first whiff.
Color aside, the perfume walks the line of being sweet and playful and dark and sultry. The extra brat-coded perfume greets you with sugar-soaked strawberry and fresh apple, but once it sits the vanilla orchid and jasmine come forward for that deep, sexy edge that screams party girl. The addition of golden rum brings out this supreme sassiness that we can’t get enough of.
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum
Key Notes: Amber, sandalwood, vanilla, jasmine, gardenia
Back in the early 2000s, there was no hotter combo than rocking your neon-hued Von Dutch trucker hat and dousing yourself in Viva La Juicy perfume. With the dance-pop album being all about partying, Von Dutch and feral activities, it only felt right to add this perfume to the list. The fruity gourmand stars lactonic vanilla, gummy caramel, and juicy berries, along with notes of gardenia, jasmine, and amber.
Valentino Donna Born in Roma Green Stravaganza Eau de Parfum
Key Notes: Lapsang Souchong tea, jasmine, vanilla
You can’t get more brat than a neon green perfume living inside an edgy studded bottle. The scent itself was designed to allow you to be true to yourself and live in the moment. With tea at the opening it delivers this warm smokiness that’s uber-lush but it’s mellowed out by the vanilla and the jasmine that adds a sexiness for a thoroughly intoxicating aroma. We’d wear this one headed out on a summer night of debauchery with the girlies.

My favorite perfume use to be Raffinee. Started in 1982, very hard to find now. Loved it. Wish it would come back again. Best scent ever! Light, powdery scent.
Perhaps you could find your next fave on Scentbird 😚💖
